About the Artist

From an early age, Jade Chambers (b. 1990) thrived in creativity and was encouraged and instructed by the women in her family. It wasn’t until early college years that she began using art as a personal expression. It became a way for her to experience and process her world. Jade studied Art at Oregon State University and received her degree in Elementary Education from Southern Oregon University in 2014. Many of her acrylic paintings are in black and white, focusing on the contrast of shadow and light. Her exploration of mixed media creates a unique visual experience. She is inspired by how the natural world can reflect the emotional experiences of human nature due to the creation of man and world by the same God and how art can be a personal expression of values and uniqueness.
